I am writing to highlight several critical feature gaps in your inventory rental software that are impacting our operational efficiency. Please find below a detailed list of the issues we are encountering:
- Customer Visibility During Reservation Management
- When editing reservations, shipments, or due dates, the customer name is not displayed in the main viewing window-only the “To” location appears. This makes it difficult to quickly identify which customer’s order is being managed, increasing the risk of errors and slowing down our workflow.
- Missing Customer and Salesperson Information in Key Views
- There is no customer or salesperson information displayed in the “Shipment Pivot” or “Sales Pivot” views. This omission makes it challenging to track orders, both for internal coordination (knowing which salesperson is responsible) and for external communication with the correct customer contacts. For example, when operations advises a delay in reservation or delivery, we have no immediate way to identify and notify the relevant salesperson or customer.
- Importing Rerent Items with Correct Ownership
- While the ability to import rerent lists into our stock is valuable, the current import tool only allows us to assign the “owner” as ourselves. We need the option to import rerent items and assign the correct vendor as the owner in the “owner” column during the import process. This lack of “owner” selection causes hours of data entry to retype each item into the system and chose the correct record with the correct “Owner” for Rerent items.
These enhancements are essential for us to manage reservations, shipments, and inventory accurately and efficiently without causing significant time delays. We kindly request that you consider prioritizing these features in your development roadmap.
