Object reference not set to an instance of an object

After running the exportAPI application I am getting the following error:
“Object Reference not set to an instance of an object”

After exportAPI Application is run the files that get created are totally empty.

Welcome to the API forum Mohak123. If possible, can you upload your code and database backup to our support team? If you can zip them up (without any binaries - that will be rejected) and submit a support case to support@avontus.com we can take a look. Just be sure to mention the API forum.
